These products have been researched, developed and manufactured in our own set up. Thus, a complete ‘Made in India’ product.
The legacy of Sakegaonkar Group dates back in the early nineties when it was just a small tooling house. Slowly, with great determination and vision, it was transformed into own manufacturing. With many reputed OEMs as our customers, we were known as a leading manufacturing unit. This vast experience and research have helped us in great way while manufacturing our own product Schiv Knives, our first in the consumer segment.

The whole range of Schiv Knives is manufactured by keeping these three features in focus – Sharp. Sturdy. Safe.
Sharpness:
Being knives, they had to be sharp. We had to make something that wouldn’t lose its sharpness over a short span of time. Therefore, we experimented with the metal and finally came up with the solution. We created a special steel alloy to make the blades of these knives. Due to this alloy, these blades don’t lose their sharpness till at least 5 lakh cutting cycles as compared to 1-1.5 lakh cutting cycles even by the popular brands.
Sturdy:
This alloy also makes these knives sturdy while cutting. It provides the force and make them more efficient. At the same time we have made such comfortable handles to make them hold easily while using. It makes them very convenient
Safety:
Schiv Knives are made in such a way that whenever they fall, they would fall only on their handle and not on the pointed side. This will save from any sudden accidents in the kitchen. At the same time, these knives come with a unique fashion of grooves or serrations that would cut the vegetables easily, but they wouldn’t harm your skin. This unique feature makes Schiv, the safest knives around.

How Schiv was born?
Kitchen knives are used for multiple purposes like cutting, chopping, slicing, mincing, etc. They have to be sharp. But at the same time they need to be sturdy as well. While in the research, we’ve seen many knives could meet one of these parameters. We talked to thousands of men and women to understand their pain areas while using knives. We wanted to make a knife that would overcome those challenges and could be presented to them as a reliable cutting companion.
Schiv Knives are the safest and the sharpest of all. They are made of special steel alloy which is developed with great research at our inhouse manufacturing facility.
